Purpose

I've been trying to figure out what to use this blog for and I think I've got it. There are times that Willowjak Boys just isn't the place to write about the stuff I care about: books I'm reading, favourite quotes, recipes, books recommended to me, crafty ideas, current events that do not include autism or just a place to write something creative.

I think I've found a purpose. Can't wait!

  2. RYC on http://jeannieanderson.blogspot.com. Thanks for the support. I can't wait to hear from his advisor tomorrow.

Re your blog: Totally with you on having a place for your own musings to be somebody other than mom (although I cherish the role and wouldn't have it any other way.) Is this one listed on the Mom Blogs too? If it is, I'll give ya stars for that blog too.

  6. Thanks to all of you!

See that? Typical of us women... I said I would use this blog as a place for myself and immediately following, I already set it on the bottom of the totem pole of priorities. I didn't even realize I had people looking at it. I have put all my energy into www.willowjak.blogspot.com instead.

So thank you. You have reminded me to keep at it. :)

  14. Shocking isn't it that mom's and wives can have sides of our personalities that have nothing to do with our children or our husbands! lol My kids think it's crazy that my every thought doesn't totally revolved around them 24/7! I think it'll be a great way for them to know me as a person when they get older but in the meantime I love being able to use my blog to express anything I need to get out to the universe! It's rather cathartic for me! I look forward to getting to know the other sides of YOU! ;)

  24. It does help to have a "blog mission statement" doesn't it? I have two -- one for writing about books and reading and one for everything else I like writing about -- creative writing, games, life with my family and other stuff (a grab bag). : )
