I've been trying to figure out what to use this blog for and I think I've got it. There are times that Willowjak Boys just isn't the place to write about the stuff I care about: books I'm reading, favourite quotes, recipes, books recommended to me, crafty ideas, current events that do not include autism or just a place to write something creative.
I think I've found a purpose. Can't wait!

Sounds FANTASTIC! Can't wait to read more!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting & commenting!
RYC on http://jeannieanderson.blogspot.com. Thanks for the support. I can't wait to hear from his advisor tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteRe your blog: Totally with you on having a place for your own musings to be somebody other than mom (although I cherish the role and wouldn't have it any other way.) Is this one listed on the Mom Blogs too? If it is, I'll give ya stars for that blog too.
Great! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog... THIS blog is simply stunning! What a great retreat for you to hang out (or hide out) and take care of YOU! The header and entire blog are lovely.. I know you'll really enjoy opening your heart and mind here. Blessings...
ReplyDeleteHello Stacey,
ReplyDeleteThank you for following my blog. Both your blogs are beautiful.I will be there to follow them too.
Have a nice day you and your boys.
:)
Thanks to all of you!
ReplyDeleteSee that? Typical of us women... I said I would use this blog as a place for myself and immediately following, I already set it on the bottom of the totem pole of priorities. I didn't even realize I had people looking at it. I have put all my energy into www.willowjak.blogspot.com instead.
So thank you. You have reminded me to keep at it. :)
That is quite possibly the best statement ever! Finding a purpose.....
ReplyDeleteRYC, you're too hilarious. I think we've heard the last of him, but I also thought that for the email before that.

Saw you on Andrea's blog and wanted to say hi! :)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from SITS! I'm looking forward to reading more of our thoughts here. I LOVED the way you wrote your first "about me" post. You have a great writer's voice. I hope to read more of it soon.
ReplyDeleteShocking isn't it that mom's and wives can have sides of our personalities that have nothing to do with our children or our husbands! lol My kids think it's crazy that my every thought doesn't totally revolved around them 24/7! I think it'll be a great way for them to know me as a person when they get older but in the meantime I love being able to use my blog to express anything I need to get out to the universe! It's rather cathartic for me! I look forward to getting to know the other sides of YOU! ;)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to knowing what you think of Healing and Preventing Autism. Hi from the SITstahood.
ReplyDeleteGlad I found you. I'm going to pop over to your other blog too!
ReplyDeleteYour blog design is great! And so is your inspiration. Everyone needs a place to escape to!
ReplyDeleteGlad you discovered what to use it for! Stoppin by from SITS
ReplyDeleteI'm just "meeting" you for the first time today; but already looking forward to more.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mothers Day!
Your enthusiasm is contagious. I love the phrase "designing possibilities." I look forward to reading more. I wish you a fantastic journey with your new blog!
ReplyDeleteI just started the Other Bolyn Girl! Have you tried that?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a mighty fine plan! Yes, a mighty fine one. I can't wait to see what happens here void of guy stuff and all.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to thank you so much for poppin' in on my blog and jumpin' on. I sure hope ya'll enjoy the ride. I love to tell about what happens down here in the Ozark hills.
Have a fantastic weekend. This is one beautiful blog!!!
thanks for passing by my blog :) and am happy you found more things to write about
ReplyDeleteIt does help to have a "blog mission statement" doesn't it? I have two -- one for writing about books and reading and one for everything else I like writing about -- creative writing, games, life with my family and other stuff (a grab bag). : )
